Plug the FM-1 in USB, running the MSQ-80 firmware (m2.59 or later). Chrome or Edge, then allow MIDI SysEx access.
A demo or a project sent is written to a slot of the FM-1's flash and stays after power-off: the project saved last is the one the FM-1 starts with. Sending takes a few seconds (the FM-1 stops playing meanwhile). Pick a demo above, send it, and it plays on the FM-1 with its own kit.
The FM-1's own screen and lights, as they change. The panel plays the FM-1 too: click or touch the buttons and keys (several fingers at once, slide across the keys), drag or scroll the knobs. Right-click or Shift-click a button to hold it (SEL + a key, with one mouse); click it again to let go. MASTER stays on the device.
